I recently lost at least an hour of my day lusting after these beautiful images on Instagram of the stunning Californian National Park of Joshua Tree. These images, taken by @thejoshuatreehouse, transported me to this magical place, cowboy hat and cold beer in hand. Perhaps part of the appeal of this rugged, rocky desert with its mystical vibe, is that it's so different from the British landscape of green fields (and often grey skies).
